CentOS - Feb 2005 - Knowing what packages come from where in apt/yum

Looking at the output of
    rpm -qa --qf "%{vendor} - %{name} %{version} - %{arch}\n"
on a CentOS 3.4 box, I noticed that package tora-1.3.9.2 (i386) lists the
upstream vendor that shall not be named in the "vendor" field.

Is this something that should be remedied?
