Backgroundrb devel - Jul 2008 - Background will make Mongrel too slow?

Hello everyone,

I use BackgrounDRB to import some thing from excel to my railapp, I found
when the parsing is running, my mongrel process will very slow and make the
redirection from nginx timeout. Is it normal? And is there anyway to limit
the privicy of BackgrounDRB threads?
