asterisk users - Feb 2018 - chan_oss.c: Unable to register channel type 'OSS'

the console, and I really don't need this...

Yes. It is useful if you want to call using a local sound device.

Consider editing /etc/asterisk/modules.conf and disable ('noload =>')
chan_oss.so .
