I also got RLS working with Yealink phones: it was surprisingly easy to
setup.
I had issues with this feature on Aastra phones and I'm planning to try it
with Digium phones.

Manually changing Custom Device States is very simple ...  and smart idea !
Thanks for sharing it here.

PS: Did you stress test Yealink BLF feature ? If positive, is it usable
with 120 extensions ?
