asterisk users - Jan 2015 - dahdi_genconf fails with "Empty configuration - no spans"

Interesting. Does the files /etc/dahdi/assigned-spans.conf exist?

Anyway, try:

  dahdi_span_assignments auto
  dahdi_genconf
