asterisk users - Jul 2010 - sip.conf User vs Username

Hi

In sip.conf, you generally have something like

 

[name]

..

username
secret
 

What is the difference between the name specified in brackets and the
username key ?

What the sip client should provide ?

What do we use in dialplan when trying to reach this client ?

Context and username.
