I have not tried this with the authenticate() application, but you can
"trick" Asterisk into using your own prompts by [ab]using the
LANGUAGE()
function.
Something like:
exten = *,n, set(LANGUAGE()=my-pin-prompts)
or
exten = *,n, set(LANGUAGE()=my-pin-prompts/${CLIENT})
may work.
