Hello everyone, I am trying Asterisk could manage codecs negotiations. I have some telephones that supports g723.1 and G711, while others only support G711. I would like, due to BW usage, that telephones supporting g723.1 used that codec in all calls between them but using g711 while connecting to old telephones. I have found a patch, but it seems to be for old versions of asterisk. http://www.rtpproxy.org/wiki/AsteriskCodecNegotiationPatch It is also suitable for me that asterisk took a look at sip.conf and decided which codec to use looking at supported codecs in every client (if it is easier).
