Hi all.. Im using ABE C3.2.1 version and here Im having the following issue with respect to T38 fax calls. Somehow asterisk when it receives Session modification request with the T38 Codec, is not forwarding the request to the other end. Also asterisk is responding with 200 Ok to this RE INVITE with an audio line rather an media line with image. The session id here strangely matches to that of previously active session belonging to the same dialog FYI Im enclosing the SIP logs for this issue...the setup is having 2 Uas (2052 and 2053) on one m/c (10.232.44.48) talking to Asterisk PBX on (10.232.44.41). 2052 initiated a fax call to 2053 Kindly let me knw if you have any clue on the possible cause for this issue Thanks n Regards Arun -------------- next part -------------- An embedded and charset-unspecified text was scrubbed... You don't say what's on the other end, but various vendor and software support for T.38 is fickle. For example, if you're trying to talk to a Cisco device that talks T.38, look for the release notes and you'll see a lot of caveats about situations in which T.38 is known to be broken. And if you look at T.38 in the 1.6.x series of normal asterisk, you'll see that there are new patches going in to improve T.38 specifically, and SIP specifically. That said, I don't know anything about ABE. If there is a newer version, I recommend first upgrading to the latest version and see if your problem has already been fixed.
