asterisk users - Sep 2009 - zaptel kernel configuration error on vmware

hello
while i try to compile zaptel

it gives following error to me

you do not appear to have the sources for the 2.6.27-7-server kernel
installed
can anybody know

i have vmware and using centos 5

You will need to install the source tree (or at least the headers) for 
the running kernel.

On debian there is a package called kernel-headers (usually with the 
version number).

I don't use Centos/Red hat much but `yum install kernel-headers` might 
be worth a try or use Google :-)

With a custom kernel? Such a version string looks like an Ubuntu kernel.

On Debian and Ubuntu:  aptitude install linux-headers-`uname -r`
