Hi All; To those who used H323, which u advise to use: h323 that come with Asterisk or the ooh323? Why? Anyone can advise if still need gnugk for registration or I can register the h323 endpoint on asterisk without need for gnugk? Regards Bilal
Stay away form ooh323. It tends to crash Asterisk. If you get h323 let me know. About h323 (not ooh323): I succeed to compile and now the h323 channel under asterisk contains file, look like it become avaibale. Also I am now able to telnet the ip_address 1720 (which means the h323 port is listening). Tonight did not get time to test, but tell me: what u were not able to make it work exactly? Which part?
