[asterisk-users] Off-topic: SIP DTMF most supported method
Hi, I know it is a bit off-topic, but I'd like to ask the community what is the current most supported way to deal with DTMF? I'm looking for an all-SIP system and I'm mostly interested in the end devices support of the different methods (DTMF in-band audio, DTMF RTP telephony events packets, SIP INFO, ...) Thanks in advance. Cesc -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/attachments/20090406/66d58337/attachment.htm
It's SIP in rfc (RFC2833) then SIP INFO and then if you can't do anything else inband audio (only G711) Martin On Mon, Apr 6, 2009 at 2:24 AM, Cesc Santa <cesc.santa at gmail.com> wrote:> Hi, > > I know it is a bit off-topic, but I'd like to ask the community what is the > current most supported way to deal with DTMF? > I'm looking for an all-SIP system and I'm mostly interested in the end > devices support of the different methods (DTMF in-band audio, DTMF RTP > telephony events packets, SIP INFO, ...) > > Thanks in advance. > Cesc > _______________________________________________ > -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- > > asterisk-users mailing list > To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: > ? http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users >
