This has now happened to me on two different machines with different hardware. Suddenly a user dials and the last port on the card will have a loud noise and the call cannot complete. The first machine where this happened had a TDM400P card with 4 FXO ports and the second machine has an OpenVox A1200 card with 9 FXO ports. In both cards it is the last port (port 4 in the TDM and port 9 on the A1200) where you get the noise while the rest of the ports work well. Both machines are running Zaptel 1.4.11 and Asterisk 1.4.20.1 but the first machine was running older versions of both Zaptel and Asterisk when the problem first appeared. Both machines run CentOS 5.2 Any ideas what could cause this problem? The only way to fix it is to reboot the machine to eliminate the noise. The noise will come back after a week or so of continuous operation. -- ?Telecomunicaciones Abiertas de M?xico S.A. de C.V.
