asterisk users - Sep 2006 - Polycom 501 - message waiting LED manipulation

Hi,
 
I'm hoping to find the answer to this here, because I believe the admin
manual doesn't give it.
 
I'd like to change the led behavior on my Polycom 501 for the message
waiting indicator.  Basically, I want to manipulate it to make the led
always on.
 
I can't find the led pattern referring the message waiting in the sip.cfg
file.  Is this at all possible?
