Hi, I'd like to ask for help if there is a solution. I have already went thru the archives, but nothing that'd solve my problem came up. My problem is that since we changed to asterisk and voip phones at the Co, using a zaptel tormenta2 dual T1 channel card, and an Adtran TA750 channelbank, we are experiencing problems with the cashing machine the faxes and a modem. What I did is that these analog lines just passing thru asterisk like: [modem] exten => _X.,1,Dial(Zap/35/${EXTEN}) with a little more tricky calculation of the Zap channel number. I don't see what could be changed in order to make things work again. As disconnecting the T1 and having it going directly to the channel bank fixes the things right away. Here are the problems: FAX: random sending errors MODEM: while I was there trying manually it builds up connection 9600 bps or sometimes even 21kbps, but after that it has all sorts of problems communicating Cashing machine: random failure of building up the connection upon payments What I don't understand is, why do they fail? They are on the same card, no codecs are used to transmit the data, and it is completely digital, probably very low and constant delay on the path. Is there a way to troubleshoot this issue? Or any device out there available that can have one incoming T1 line and splits it into 2 full T1-s having some of the timeslots coming out on one and some on the other (for reasonable price that is:) )? thx Levi -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
