I'm using Asterisk 1.2.7.1, and if I press the # key when I'm on a call, I get a prompt to transfer the call. This, of course, interferes with any IVR system I'm using, as many systems will ask me to enter a number, then press the # key. Is there any way I can get Asterisk to ignore this key when I'm on a call? Patrick

You can set the "transfer" feature to be whatever key press you want. If you want to go that route, you can set it up so that # doesn't initiate a transfer, and Asterisk will just pass the # as DTMF to the other side of the call. My transfer is *#. Use features.conf to set this up.
