asterisk users - Aug 2006 - Sangoma A200D and DTMF Detection

Does anybody else have issues with the Hardware Echo Canceller and DTMF 
detection on this card?  I installed an IVR system (no VoIP), and the 
Zap channel does not detect DTMF tones properly.   For example the user 
hits 123 and the systems sees 1123 or just 23.  Trying relaxdtmf yes/no 
does not help at all.  If we disable the Hardware Echo Canceller, DTMF 
will work perfectly 100% of the time. 

Does anybody else have a similar experience with this?

We experienced this problem with a Sangoma A104D card. With echo cancel
turned on, the card was not detecting incoming DTMF digits to our IVR
properly. However, when we added the line relaxdtmf=yes to zapata.conf, the
problem went away. If the relaxdtmf setting is not curing the problem for
you, I would suggest sending an email to support@sangoma.com.

We got a prompt response from Sangoma and gave them SSH access to 
troubleshoot the issue.  Modifying relaxdtmf on its own did not help but 
if used in combination with rxgain it made all the difference.  The 
system is working pretty good now with these two modifications:

relaxdtmf=yes
rxgain=6.0
