Hi all, We have been having stability issues with one of our servers, a Dell 2850. The machine has been locking up a few times a week for the past several months, except for a two month period when we were running on a Sangoma card (we have since moved back to Digium hardware). The machine was running Fedora Core 4, minimal install, and Asterisk 1.2.4/Zaptel 1.2.5 (no libpri, we're on robbed-bit T1s). The server has a TE410P in it, and I have disabled ACPI and the framebuffer. We had also moved from the onboard NIC's to PCI based NIC, but that didn't seem to make any difference. Last week, we received a replacement server and built it around Asterisk Business Edition A-2.5. We moved to BE as a desparate attempt to fix some sound quality issues (totally separate from the stability issues), and, for the most part, it's worked like a charm. This machine is running a Netgear Gig-E NIC and has the onboard network interfaces disabled, which was Digium's suggestion from a few months to help the stabillity of the system. This is also a BRAND NEW 2850 and has been in use since Friday July 14th. Just a few minutes ago, the system locked up, displaying the same type of errors that it did months before. A picture of the screen (best I can do right now) showing the errors is here: http://www.wesleyhaut.com/pics/error.jpg The whole point of this is to get as many people to see the error as possible so that we might have SOME idea of what is going on. Also, we are technically on an unsupported OS, as FC3 and RHEL 3 are the only two supported distros for BE. Please let me know if you have any questions or need further info. Thanks, Wes (In case someone asks:) cat /proc/interrupts (i have the digium card interrupting on CPU0 and CPU1, everything else is on 2 and 3) [root@pinion-b-ast ~]# cat /proc/interrupts CPU0 CPU1 CPU2 CPU3 0: 487 0 0 1405388 IO-APIC-edge timer 1: 0 0 0 9 IO-APIC-edge i8042 2: 0 0 0 0 XT-PIC cascade 8: 0 0 0 1 IO-APIC-edge rtc 14: 0 0 0 3157 IO-APIC-edge ide0 74: 0 2292608 131155 1734001 IO-APIC-level eth0 201: 0 76833 37734 80443 IO-APIC-level megaraid 225: 175012 592377 0 621526 IO-APIC-level wct4xxp NMI: 1405494 1405391 1405390 1405388 LOC: 1397424 1401544 1405212 1399435 ERR: 0 MIS: 0 lspci [root@pinion-b-ast ~]# lspci 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation E7520 Memory Controller Hub (rev 09) 00:02.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation E7525/E7520/E7320 PCI Express Port A (rev 09) 00:04.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation E7525/E7520 PCI Express Port B (rev 09) 00:05.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation E7520 PCI Express Port B1 (rev 09) 00:06.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation E7520 PCI Express Port C (rev 09) 00:1e.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801 PCI Bridge (rev c2) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) LPC Interface Bridge (rev 02) 00:1f.1 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) IDE Controller (rev 02) 01:00.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 80332 [Dobson] I/O processor (rev 06) 01:00.2 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 80332 [Dobson] I/O processor (rev 06) 02:0e.0 RAID bus controller: Dell PowerEdge Expandable RAID controller 4 (rev 06) 05:00.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 6700PXH PCI Express-to-PCI Bridge A (rev 09) 05:00.2 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 6700PXH PCI Express-to-PCI Bridge B (rev 09) 08:00.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 6700PXH PCI Express-to-PCI Bridge A (rev 09) 08:00.2 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 6700PXH PCI Express-to-PCI Bridge B (rev 09) 0a:02.0 Communication controller: Unknown device d161:0410 (rev 02) 0a:03.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
