[asterisk-users] Extensions Register but don't ring when called, can call others though
Not sure where to even start with this. I am running asterisk 1.2.1 and freepbx as the frontend. I have a remote user with soft phones (tried 3 all register and call out) that registers fine (see it in asterisk and see it in phone) and can call extensions on the asterisk box with no problem. Other extensions are UNABLE to call any extensions at the remote site. I have tried 2 different machines as well as trying a vpn connection on one to the central asterisk box with the same problem. The remote users isp is not blocking any ports that i can determine and I have even put the machine with the softphones on the dmz to test it, same problem everytime. Asterisk CLI interface (verbosity 5) shows it being called but it never rings on the remote users side. What else should I be looking at? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Try to active callwaiting in those unreachable extensions. You just need to dial *70 from every SIP extension. Be aware that *70 (call waiting ) may be disabled in your freepbx. Hope it helps, Marco Mouta Please give me some feedback On 7/17/06, Tim P <panterafreak@gmail.com> wrote:> Not sure where to even start with this.
