[asterisk-users] Yet another problem with incoming SIP calls and 407
Hi all, when I receive incoming SIP calls on my Asterisk (1.2.9.1) where the caller has a username in it's From-Address which also exists in my sip.conf then my system answers with "407 Proxy Authentication Required". If it's nonexistent username then callin works fine! It seems that this is a problem in the SIP implementation of Asterisk and found a few hints on how to resolve this (allowguest=yes, insecure=invite, port etc.). But none of them does help! Can anyone suggest what I else could try? Thanks, Wolfgang

Unauthenticated calls use the options in [general] -- Now accepting new clients in Birmingham, Atlanta, Huntsville, Chattanooga, and Montgomery.
