If you are using putty as your ssh client... create the ssh tunnel to the *
box & then go to "session-> logging-> log printable output
only" in your
putty configuration & save.
To do it on the asterisk box only, I only know of the logger:
1. In logger.conf set "full => warning,error,verbose,debug" then
save the
file.
2. Do a "logger reload" command from the CLI.
3. Do "sip debug peer/ip 'whatever' " and make your test
calls.
The debug will show in /var/log/asterisk/full
