[Asterisk-Users] anyone doing voice audio detect VAD on analog lines
I am trying to use digium TDM04B type cards combined with call files like: Channel: Zap/1/5551212 Context: smvoice-dialout Extension: 99999 Application: Playback Data: demo-congrats To call out and play messages. My problem is as soon as the phone is dialed the message demo-congrats starts playing even though the called person has not answered the phone yet... This does not happen on a T1 as it has signalling indicating the call was answered... I am looking for a solution that does this in asterisk for analog lines. I used to use old dialogic D41PCI cards that had call progress analysis. I have played with the /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf "callprogress=yes" setting but have not had any luck. Also the comments say its HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL. Has anyone found a good way to do this and can you share? THanks, Jerry
