asterisk users - Jan 2006 - can wengophone or gizmo be used directly with asterisk???

Hi,
is there anybody who successfully succeeded in connecting wengophone or 
gizmo directly to asterisk?

I read the page:

but it is not what I want.

My purpose is to use wengo  or gizmo as  I did with x-ten on Windows but 
they do not seem to register.
