Hello, I have searched the site extensively and this is the only reference I find to my problem-the problem, but no answer. ?T Aksoy HYPERLINK "mailto:asterisk-users%40lists.digium.com"asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Tue, 18 Feb 2003 23:36:39 -0000 Hi, I have an X100P fxo card configured so that a user will ring on either line, and the call will then be diverted via the other line to a landline elsewhere. The calls always sound "distant" to the recipient, but adjusting the rxgain and txgain values has the effect of making the call louder, but distorting it at the same time. Are these the only settings that can be used? Are there any other settings that may be of use? I presume that asterisk converts the incoming analog call into voip, and then converts it back to analog when sending out again. Is there any choice over the codec used or isn't this how it works? Thanks for any help. Tan? If any one can point me in the right direction?that would be wonderful!!! Thanks for your help, Sean R. Thurin -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
