[Asterisk-Users] MTP Requirements for getting * talking to CCM for Voicemail
Okay, finally run a server up with asterisk 1.2 and started work on getting CCM 4.1 talking to it to try and investigate the use of * for voicemail and possibly meetme conferences. Using the notes on the voip wiki, I've managed to get it to a point where I can call * successfully and get into and leave a message in voicemail. I've hit one issue with CheckMailboxExists not working quite right, but I'll look at that later. My biggest issue at the moment is that I can't get external calls coming into CCM to be able to successfully get through to * without hanging up. If I do a debug sip I can see that CCM sends a BYE message to * after the initial invite. After running a trace on CCM I can see I get an error about an MTP resource failure (resource unavailable). Looking at the config on the SIP Trunk I'd setup, I realise I didn't have an MTP included in the MGRL I'd placed the trunk in. I've since amended this config but need to restart my devices to complete this. I know MTP's being required was mentioned a while back. Just wondering if anyone found a workaround for this, or if they just ended up including an MTP in the MGRL for the SIP Trunk. Any suggestions gratefully accepted at this point.
