[Asterisk-Users] Getting ztdummy to load on startup for X100P
Greetings, On Fedora Core 1 with a Generic X100P For the life of me, I can't seem to get ztdummy to load on startup. I go through the usual routine of uncommenting the '#' in Makefile before running make clean and make install in /usr/src/Zaptel. Then I do modprobe on zaptel and ztdummy. All loads fine but when I try rebooting, zaptel loads but ztdummy does not. After reading through prior posts, I saw that you can either change your rc.d file or /etc/modules.conf. Could someone give me some pointers on how to get this working? Currently /etc/modules.conf says this: "post-install ztdummy /sbin/ztcfg". Is this something I need to change? Thanks for the help. Regards, Min Chang

The X100P card is one such hardware-based timing source.> I > go through the usual routine of uncommenting the '#' in Makefile > before running make clean and make install in /usr/src/Zaptel. Is this something I need to change? That is totally unnecessary as well. ztdummy has nothing that needs configuring by ztcfg. -- Tzafrir Cohen | tzafrir@jbr.cohens.org.il | VIM is http://tzafrir.org.il | | a Mutt's tzafrir@cohens.org.il | | best ICQ# 16849755 | | friend

[Asterisk-Users] Getting ztdummy to load on startup for X100P
Try putting a line at the very bottom of /etc/rc.d/rc.local like /sbin/modprobe ztdummy Moj Min Hwan Chang wrote:> Greetings, > > On Fedora Core 1 with a Generic X100P > > For the life of me, I can't seem to get ztdummy to load on startup.
