[Asterisk-Users] codec voice quality ratings
Has anyone done any quality measurements on the codecs as implemented in asterisk? Specifically something along the lines of: MOS (mean opinion score) either 1-5 or 1-10 variant DAM (diagnostic acceptability measure) DRT (diagnostic rhyme test) Obviously MOS is the easiest, and network, speaker and microphone quality can affect the results, but I would be interested in seeing something done which goes into detail about the equipment used in the test and the sample pool used to test it. Anyone have any references for this? -- Trixter http://www.0xdecafbad.com Bret McDanel UK +44 870 340 4605 Germany +49 801 777 555 3402 US +1 360 207 0479 or +1 516 687 5200 FreeWorldDialup: 635378 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
