asterisk users - Aug 2005 - ISDN BRI Funkyness

Hello All,
I am still experiencing a problem on an eicon diva server bri-2m.

When I call in, it is as if the volume is so overamplified that there is
no quality and a ton of noise.  I have checked the debugs and not seen
anything mentioned.

I can hear audio, but the volume is way off, as if there was a +40 gain.

I put the card in a windows box and it performed fine.

Any suggestions for me to get this narrowed down?

Just a thought: do you use a-law or u-law ?

found it... I kinda assumed it would be on by default.

Maybe someone should add this note to the wiki...

Did you then compile chan_capi with u-law support as well ?
(definition in the Makefile)
