Hi All, I have service with iconnecthere they use sip and allow generic devices. outbound and inbound calls work as expected. i had a few hicups but nothing i couldnt workout with sip debugging turned on. I have one issue and its a doozie. I dont think its related to asterisk though they claim otherwise. When you call my number once the number is dialled you hear nothing on the phone until either the call is answered or it goes to voicemail. there is no indication that the call is working at all. im at a loss as to what it would be. i have forwarded the rtp ports and sip port to my asterisk box. i even tried setting the box in the DMZ. I dont want to waste much time on this as there customer service sucks. the product itself has always been good. i cant think of any configs to post that will help as it really does seem ok and does work. My guess is that you are. Try "show application dial" and look for the "r" parameter, etc.
