Is it possible to compile the zaptel drivers running sarge and using a 64 bit kernel running 2.6.8-11-em64t-p4-smp? Or will that bring more problems? -- respectfully, Joseph ==============---------------------= ********** =

I choose the server install and selected all the development packages. After that I downloaded Asterisk from CVS along with the addons and Zaptel drivers. Everything compiled the first time and I am using Realtime for Voicemail. -- Carlos Chavez Director de Tecnolog?a Telecomunicaciones Abiertas de M?xico S.A. de C.V. Tel: +52-55-91169161 Ext 2001

Some of the locations are not strictly correct (things get sent to /usr/lib instead of /usr/lib64..) but those are easily fixed when building the rpms. Everything is strictly 64-bit, running mixed 32/64 is just asking for trouble. I also integrated the building of pwlib 1.9.0/openh323 1.17.1 to the whole build process and sound between sip <-> h.323 users behing Cisco CME systems works great along with using res_config_mysql, cdr_addon_mysql for realtime and cdr logging. :) I spent a few days to figure out the best way of building everything and now usually just drop a cvs snapshot (and/or selective patches from mantis) to stay current. // kaj
