-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I have being seeing an interesting problem. We have and Asterisk 1.0.5 server driving some Cisco 7960s with SIP 7.3 firmware, via a Netgear FSM7326P switch. We have configured the network to work with data on VLAN 1 and VoIP on VLAN 2. Every few days, a phone will forget it's VLAN configuration and change themselves to VLAN 0. As a result they can no longer communicate with the Asterisk server. Has anybody seen any similar problems? If so, what is the solution? I was unable to find any way of setting the vlan via the tftp server. - -- Ron Wellsted http://www.wellsted.org.uk ron@wellsted.org.uk FWD:519961 Gossiptel:9309811 N 52.567623, W 2.137621 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQEVAwUBQlRDkEtP/KMNOfRbAQItUwf/WH3aVIkPe/LyXEVk2jpS5j6qjJXYNjxD 3P1zH8+0kKVvGpDHMdCr7i3wS/ExzdII1vngi6cUwxMM/rTPD9GfsEWKTKcK+2uj cOGgUCkQfzJEMH7zgY28LCuYfqJFsNBgkmVsHtDhPfLo7+wbck7qPpdyQdgH6+Bz sPOsL/Ughl8dt2vVzTafRdZAN/8KKkt9Kk07tOhi6EFfHlGUVZXRIlUJbNb43xnd zE0J/2PDy1NHK0d+rxGFA517ZtfAx3XwX34Z9ED/4usc0u3KK/H5mIyK/jUZTv88 Gca509N/oe/uy+E6b/qrI0dhhjPxwMBeDbpaRatMX+T1CnmlIlqfww==U6mI -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

>Cisco unfortunately doesn't care too much about interoperability >as they prefer to sell their own products..which, wether you like it or not, are super (PIX not included). I've been playing around with a lot of hardware from different vendors, but Cisco is still on my 'expensive but works great if you know what ur doing' list. At least this is true for VoIP phones and (small to medium sized) switches. I wish it wasn't true, cause I hate their sales and marketing ethics, but their technoligy is great (in some sectors). Sorry for the off-topic, guess it's time to sleep. -- Michiel van Baak http://lunteren.vanbaak.info michiel@vanbaak.info GnuPG key: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x7E0B9A2D "Two of the most famous products of Berkeley are LSD and BSD.
