I am just getting into my Asterisk adventure. I got a TDM400P with one FXO and one FXS cards. TDM400P is needed a PCI 2.2 according to the spec. How do I make sure that the PC I will get, has PCI 2.2. How big the difference among the PCI express, PCI-X, PCI 2.3 and PCI 2.2. What should I do to make sure I got the right Linux box with right PCI spec. I will install Red hat 9.0, what are suggestions concerning the PC brand and model for my first tryout.
