asterisk users - Jan 2005 - C/C++ SIP Phone Development Lib or Stack

Hello All,

Can someone suggest a opensource feature rich C/C++ lib/stack for
developing softphones and that would also work with Astrick?

I have been looking at a few but nore sure which is the best and also
which is more stable.
