[Asterisk-Users] 8 x 8 Analog System for Auth and Minutes Tracking
I have a need for a system that will strictly be used for authentication and minutes used when a caller dials in. The system needs to support 8 incomming lines and 8 outgoing lines into a proprietary call center box and PBX (3Com NBX) What is the best way to accommodate this with *? I was thinking I could use a t-1 card connected to an Adran 600 with 8 FXO and 8 FXS ports. Does anyone know if this is possible? I was also thinking of using ASTCC for the authentication and minutes used part of the equation. We expect forty calls a day to start and that is expected to grow. Has anyone used or tested ASTCC at this level? This is going to be an integral system for a business and needs to be solid so if you know of any solutions other than asterisk which may be more suitable please let me know as well. Thanks, Steve

It is just 16 channels to be mapped. Then it is just a matter of telling asterisk what to do with the 16 channels. So yes it can be done. -- Steven Critchfield <critch@basesys.com>
