asterisk users - Nov 2004 - Monitor performance

Hi,

 

I need to record (monitor) a full loaded E1 (30 channels).

 

Do you know if monitor requires a lot of resource? Will it run on a p4
2.4Ghz for example?

Hi Cyrille,

I'm currently monitoring full loaded PRI on P4, 512Mb servers with 
around 40 SIP phones connected without any problems, and I'm even using  
the 'm' option to mix the in-out files at hangup.
