asterisk users - Nov 2004 - IVR and voice mail using G729

Hello, I'm an Asterisk new user,

I need to know if it is possible to use the IVR and Voicemail using G729, I
have two SIP phones that uses G729 and I can not heard the IVR and the voice
mail.

I only want to dial to the Internet and stay nailed up for data.
I want my voice to be VOIP.
Anyone doing this?

Yes, you just need to purchase a G.729 licence from Digium. 2 phones,
$20 (Presuming 1 channel at a time).  Not a bad deal:

Hello,

I have some problems with a Micrones SP5052 gateway, I can register it with
asterisk, but I can not establish a call with  it.

has anyone some experience working with this gateway?
