I've got further, by setting the tonezone in /etc/zaptel.conf to be
'us', which then delivers the caller id after the first ring, but
makes the call sound like one made to the US (not really supprising).
Is anyone aware of how to tweak the settings, so I can retain UK
call tones, but send out the callerid over the FXS port ?
I'm still guessing that it is due to the timing of the rings; I've
tried setting 'DEFAULT_CIDRINGS 2' within the chan_zap.c, as suggested
on one email thread, but that didn't solve this issue.
