Is it just me, or is the Dial timeout off by a factor of two? This is not something that has appeared recently, but I finally decided to do some timings and see if it was just my perception or something... With Dial(Blah/999,20), the phone will ring for 40 seconds. With a timeout value of 10, it rang for 20 seconds... I tried looking at the code for Dial, but didn't really comprehend much in a short period of time... Does anybody see the same behavior? I'm running the stable/1.0.X branch from CVS at the moment (updated a few days ago), but I think I saw the same stuff on the development branch... Rob

Does anybody see the same behavior?I noticed it too, just haven't had the time to do the timings. But in general, I noticed that *ALL* time(out) based functions were off by almost a factor of 2, but in my case they were typically the other way, meaning a specified 20 second timeout would trigger in 10 seconds, 60 in 30, etc... I'm sure it worked both ways though, just haven't been able to _time_ it yet. -- Christopher L. Wade Unistar-Sparco Computers, Inc.
