[Asterisk-Users] FWD via IAX2 -- anybody else experiencing timeouts?
I am getting heavy lag on iax poke messages to iax2.fwdnet.net frequently timing out to become UNREACHABLE, but ICMP echo seems ok with just under 200 ms. It's been like this for at least a week now. Anybody else experiencing this? pbx*CLI> iax2 show peers Name/Username Host Mask Port Status demo/asterisk 216.207.245.47 (S) 255.255.255.255 4569 Unmonitored fwd-gw/******** 65.39.205.121 (S) 255.255.255.255 4569 OK (1841 ms) pbx*CLI> !ping 65.39.205.121 PING 65.39.205.121 (65.39.205.121) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from 65.39.205.121: icmp_seq=1 ttl=48 time=185 ms 64 bytes from 65.39.205.121: icmp_seq=2 ttl=47 time=200 ms 64 bytes from 65.39.205.121: icmp_seq=3 ttl=48 time=185 ms 64 bytes from 65.39.205.121: icmp_seq=4 ttl=47 time=200 ms 64 bytes from 65.39.205.121: icmp_seq=5 ttl=48 time=185 ms 64 bytes from 65.39.205.121: icmp_seq=6 ttl=48 time=184 ms 64 bytes from 65.39.205.121: icmp_seq=7 ttl=47 time=200 ms 64 bytes from 65.39.205.121: icmp_seq=8 ttl=48 time=185 ms 64 bytes from 65.39.205.121: icmp_seq=9 ttl=48 time=186 ms rgds benjk -- Sunrise Telephone Systems, 9F Shibuya Daikyo Bldg., 1-13-5 Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Hi, How to set fwd iax as a peer? The config that I got from FWD does not show how to do this? Also how to get the status from "unmonitored" to what you have? Appreaciate any help on this.
