asterisk users - Oct 2004 - Vonage just doesn't work?

I've yet to successfully register and receive calls from my
Vonage softphone. I've tried what few examples are given in former post this
list and some other forums, but nobody seems to be stepping forward saying
it works recently. Either they broke something to where you simply cannot
use *, or the config examples need updated. 

            If anyone can show a still working config, please forward it
on!!!

I was able to get it working this weekend but only with a routable ip not
with nat.

 

[general]

This is just a question to know, can I use a SIPURA or softphone with Packet8?

If, yes, which will be the configuration, I think someone long time
ago make a comment about it on the list
