asterisk users - Aug 2004 - Writing messages to ISDN phone displays?

Hello all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to send a message to an ISDN phone's 
display (e.g. voice mail or email waiting)?

Is there some kind of facility message to do this? I know that the 
phones get the time of day from the asterisk machine for example.
