You want to set up a PBX system to make outgoing collect calls? You still have to have dialtone from someone and collect calls require an operator. You may need to explain what exactly you are looking for. -Kerry _____ From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of John Spearle Sent: Monday, April 04, 2005 9:32 AM To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Collect Calls Is there any way I can make a collect call without having a account with anyone? John ? We have a setup currently in place for those that want to send us collect calls. Normally we use this for our hotel customers where we share in the revenue of a collect, credit or calling card call. But, I am sure this setup would work for you and it's free. We also have others who use it so their customers never receive a failed call. Simply send any dialed number to switch.opbx.com we in turn place the call through our operator service center. You can send either SIP or IAX. -Mark -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Version: 7.0.308 / Virus Database: 266.9.1 - Release Date: 4/1/2005
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Folks, Does someone knows how to identify and block collect calls on Asterisk using PRI channels? I googled it and found this: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-dev/2004-November/007500.html I don't know what does it mean!!! Can someone help me to understand this? I tried to apply that way too, using Flash() but Flash() complains and looks like just work with FXO channels: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2004-October/066360.html Thanks in advance. - -- ===========================================Rodrigo P.
