-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I know there is probably a page in wiki that answers this but I could not find it. I was wondering if there is a way that a user can exit the directory buy pressing a button like * and be returned back to the auto attendant. What I have in my mind is the started getting in the directory but also having it say Press * to return to the main menu and my dial plan would be something like Exten => *,1,Directory(default) <- this would be the option on the main menu i.e. Press * to use the company directory. Exten => *,1,Goto(default,s,1) <- This would be executed if the pressed * while doing a search in the directory. Thanks! I am using the July 1 release of Asterisk @ home for an initial test-bed. The one and only thing my users have complained about so far is that the directory spells out the name of the person. Is there a way to get it to "say" the full name of the person? Thanks,

Yes there is, Record the user name in the voicemail setup, that's option 0 (zero) then option 3. Once you have recorded the users name with a voice prompt the directory will use that recording instead of spelling the name. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Chris Gamble Sent: 14 July 2005 23:52 To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Directory I am using the July 1 release of Asterisk @ home for an initial test-bed.
