asterisk users - Mar 2004 - Asterisk won't start with g729

Hi to all,

I installed the g729 codec and registered with Digium.
It works but I can only start Asterisk by digiting asterisk -vvvvgc, and 
not in background.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

This is expected behavior, due to the VoiceAge library requirements.

Run safe_asterisk with a console.
