Hello everybody, I try to connect directly to Asterisk an ISDN DECT base station. Here is the scheme: ISDN Line------------------ISDN CARD(CAPI)--+Asterisk+--ISDN CARD(???)---------------------------------DECT Base station. My question is: is it possible to convert the second ISDN card into NT-Mode? If yes, which card must I use? How should I configure it? Thank you Ignace

If yes, which card must I use? How should I configure it?AFAIK The only card compatible with Asterisk to suppoirt NT1 mode currently is the Zaptel BRI card from Junghanns.net. They are available from various manufacturers and priced around 30 Euro here in Germany.> How should I configure it?You need the zaphfc driver which is part of the bri-stuff package that can be found here: http://www.junghanns.net/asterisk/downloads The most recent version is 0.0.2rc12, but the author told me he soon will upload a much improved 0.0.2rc13. cu Reinhard

The caveat is that the patches only seem to work on specific versions of the zaptel, libpri and asterisk source. It took me a while to get them to compile, especially on RH9... Not for the faint-hearted!!!! I would dearly like to see native support for these cards built in to the main * line, as they will open up huge opportunities within EMEA...
