If you can plug the phone into a normal line coming from your Telco (and make and receive calls) then the phones will work with Asterisk. If they are analog POTS type sets then any ATA (Sipura or Grandstream) should work. If they are a "Digital" set thats special for the PBX, then they are a good door stop ;) Basicly if you can plug it into a Tip/Ring analog line and it works then it should with a ATA. Some "sets" use the yellow/blk pair for digital signalling to the set, and tip/ring for standard voice. hope that helps john brown chagres technologies, inc (Americas) chagres technologies, b.v. I have 5 Hyuandi pstn handsets and wondering it is possible to plug into tdm400p or ata-286? Perhaps a general question whether handsets from PSTN pbx can be reused with Asterisk? -- David Kwok Iaxtel/FWD # 17001813482 ext 1002

[Asterisk-Users] EMEA and Chagres Technologies
John, You are now advertising your EMEA company in your signature block. Maybe I missed an email that explains the EMEA pricing and availability. Could you please give an update via the list as to the status of your product availablity, pricing and delivery times in Europe? The ordering procedure would be nice too assuming that you are able to deliver to the EU from the EU. Dealing with customs charges for individual shipments from the USA is not desirable. Thank you, Robert John Brown (CV) said:> > .....> > > john brown > chagres technologies, inc (Americas) > chagres technologies, b.v. (EMEA) >
