[Asterisk-Users] "multicasting" conference calls
G'day, I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to have conference calls "distributed" between multiple * servers? (as opposed to having conferences on just one server) I'd imagine this would be helpful in reducing latency with international calls. Thanks, Andrew Griffiths
Use the outgoing call feature of asterisk to have the servers join each others conferences. It's very simple. andrewg@felinemenace.org wrote:> G'day, > > I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to have conference calls > "distributed" between multiple * servers? [Asterisk-Users] Problems detecting remote hang with X100P
Hi. I have a problem, my X100P detects very well the busy tone (remote hang) when I call to somebody outside throw an X100P card. But when the person outside callme and he hang, the X100P doesnt detect the remote hang, and the connection remains open. I think it happens because the cadences in both cases are different, in the first case the cadence is like 0.5-0.5-1-0.5-0.5-1, and in the second case is 0.5-0.5-0.5-0.5 (ms) Somebody could helpme?, Somebody knows how to change the cadences, or its not necessary?
