You use the "patch" command. You can read the patch man page by typing "man patch" there are many options like for example to Save a copy of the original. It is also good to read the patch file before you apply it to get a feel for what will be changed. A patch file is simply a set of editor commands to be applied. --- Jan Larsen <jan.larsen@inet.uni2.dk> wrote:> Hi all > I am new to linux and * , so could someone please explain how to > apply a > patch file (diff extension) > > Kind regards > > Jan > > _______________________________________________ > Asterisk-Users mailing list > Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users > To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users====Chris Albertson Home: 310-376-1029 chrisalbertson90278@yahoo.com Cell: 310-990-7550 Office: 310-336-5189 Christopher.J.Albertson@aero.org KG6OMK __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
