Hello, I am looking at Asterisk for a large scale Implementation, after much customization of course. But it looks like a nice base. I was wondering if people could contact me either on the list or off list with examples of large implementations. In the range of 5K-30K active users. Best Regards, David
I am also interested in large scale deployments. I think that if you store the Dial Plan in a database instead of a flat file, there is no problem with the amount of extensions. Is this Ok? Sixto Diaz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dario M. We have implemented Asterisk using AstBill Billing and Management software with 9500 SIP and IAX extensions. The number of concurrent calls is normally around 50. There is no performance problem at all using MySQL 5.0.15 to handle the number of users. AstBill is Free and Open Source.
