asterisk users - Oct 2003 - Asterisk as a load generator

Hi All,
I am trying to setup a load generator to stress test a
VoIP device. Is there anyway I could configure
Asterisk to be a load generator? Or If someone knows
of a software which emulates multiple UAs on a PC. I
can then get those UAs talk to Asterisk and generate a
lot of VoIP traffic.

   Yes.  Look at "sample.call" in the asterisk source directory, and 
think about how it could be used to generate hundreds of VoIP calls.
